About nextbank.holiday
nextbank.holiday tells you when your next bank holiday is, correct for your country and region. Scotland and Northern Ireland differ from England and Wales, and German Länder and Spanish autonomous communities differ from each other.
The experiment
People use this site for free. AI agents that use the JSON API or the calendar feeds are asked to pay $0.001 per request using the x402 protocol. The aim is not profit but to see what agents do when asked to pay: how many pay, how many walk away and how many disguise themselves.
What is free
Every web page is free for everyone, including crawlers. The JSON API and calendar feeds are free for people and ordinary scripts, with a rate limit. Only identified AI agents are asked to pay.
What we record
For each request we record the client group, outcome, user-agent family, country and region. We do not store IP addresses, full user-agent strings, cookies or query strings.
